As a traditional Siegen-based company since 160 years, we not only bear responsibility for our employees and our customers, but also for the society in which we live and work. With a fundraising campaign, we want to help where support is urgently needed and thus make a contribution to solidarity and cohesion. Together with our team, we identified and suggested organizations and projects in the region that are in need of donations. Every suggestion from the staff was then supported! A total of €100,000 will be distributed to the various aid projects and institutions.
So far, the projects have been
- Ambulante ökumenische Hospizhilfe Siegen e.V.
- Förderverein „Kinderzuhause“ Burbach e.V.

We are glad that the donations can be used for so many good causes. Thank you to all the representatives who visited us on site and also to those we visited. After a tour of our production halls, there were many moving stories and tales from the visitors' everyday lives. The special importance of such fundraising campaigns was emphasized, because many of the employees and helpers in the associations do everything on a voluntary basis and sometimes in addition to their regular employment. It was very interesting to hear where donations are used and how they can make everyday life easier. The various obstacles that need to be overcome became clear and once again, it proved that every euro counts – together we can do good!
Friedensgruppe Siegen e.V. also received a donation as part of the Ukraine aid program. The initiative is not only committed to donations and relief supplies for Ukraine but is also committed to peace in all areas. This includes, for example, supporting and accompanying refugees from Ukraine and cooperating with similar associations. They also offer children and young people from Ukraine the opportunity to spend two weeks abroad to give them a break from everyday life in the war zone. As part of this campaign, a group of young people from Pawlohrad, not far from the war front in Ukraine, visited us – together with Siegen's mayor Steffen Mues. Jörg Dienenthal personally accompanied the visitors through our halls and answered all their questions. We are truly happy that the young people were able to spend a pleasant and rejuvenating time in Siegen and appreciate being a part of it. Many thanks to the Friedensgruppe Siegen e.V. as well as our mayor Steffen Mues!
Shortly afterwards, another donation was also handed over at the Lillipuz daycare center in Kaan-Marienborn. Here, the donation will benefit the children's ecological education – including for the planned expansion of the vegetable patch, a solar-powered irrigation system and other sustainable goals to make recycling cycles and the climate more accessible and understandable to the children. There are also plans to invest in new play equipment – many plans that will further improve life at the daycare center in the future. We are delighted that we can achieve something good here too and thank you for the warm welcome!
