Our apprentices from the sections of industrial clerks, industrial mechanics and technical product designers worked on a special project together: a huge wire loop game in shape of a mobile forging manipulator by DANGO & DIENENTHAL. Just like a machine project, the apprentices shared the work and everyone did their part: from the planning and project management to designing and drawing the wire loop, the compiling of all the parts that were needed and eventually the assembly of the handle and the wire with electrics and all the other parts.
At the end the final wire loop went through some tests to check if everything was working correctly, and it was finished and presented right on time at the educational fair in Siegen, where the visitors’ skills were put to the test – only one wrong move and the warning light flashes while another device emits an acoustic signal to let you know: try again! Now, the whole wire loop game is back in our headquarters, waiting for our colleagues to prove their steady hand.
What a great project! We're delighted by the passion our hard-working apprentices and their instructors have put into this game!
