FORMER EMPLOYEE RETURNS FOR A VISIT

LOOKING BACK ON GOOD TIMES

Some things are never forgotten!

For Erwin Koblenzer, one of them is working at DANGO & DIENENTHAL.

Last year, we received an incredibly touching request: The granddaughter of a former employee asked if she could arrange a visit of our company for her grandfather, who remains fascinated by his time at DANGO & DIENENTHAL and by the machines he worked on.

Erwin Koblenzer, born in 1947, did his apprenticeship here and was with the company until 1989. His twin brother, Eberhard Koblenzer, also spent many years at DANGO & DIENENTHAL and stayed with the company until 2011.

On June 12, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Erwin Koblenzer, his granddaughter Julia Bartels and her husband. Together with Jörg Dienenthal, Rainer Dango and Volker Schmidt, nostalgic memories were shared in a pleasant conversation. Mr. Koblenzer proudly revealed that he and his brother were the first service engineers of installation to assemble machines in Russia – he still keeps his work uniform from back then. Rainer Dango explained that, back then, service assignments were divided into two specialist areas: tapping machines and forging manipulators. The Koblenzer brothers worked in the tapping machine division, which today is part of TMT’s business segment. Therefore, a sentimental photo in front of the plugging unit of the Clay Gun was a must.

During the tour through pre-assembly, mechanics, and assembly hall, it was clear that even after all these years, Mr. Koblenzer remains enthusiastic about the machines and continues to feel a strong connection to the company.

The day was filled with memories, admiration and a strong sense of connection. As a company, we are proud and grateful to know that DANGO & DIENENTHAL is remembered so positively.
