E-mobility in the forge

The agile alternative to combustion engines

Phillip-Joel Vogelsang

In the forge, any mobile machine that does not emit pollutants is welcome. That's why we developed a battery-powered variant for our transport manipulators as an alternative to machines with conventional combustion engines.

They combine the mobility and range of diesel drives with the high efficiency of electric drives.

The advantages

  • maximum agility
  • high battery capacity
  • no pollutant emission
  • minimal noise emission
  • low operating costs
  • low maintenance and repair costs

With their decentralized drive, the advantage of our battery-powered machines is that they generally have low energy requirements: Unlike a central hydraulic system, the drives only require energy when power is actually needed. Moreover, the power supply is connected directly to the respective drive, eliminating high-loss transmission paths.
